Real exam structure

Cases match the ABA Standardized Oral Examination format: pre-op assessment, induction plan, intraoperative crises, post-op management. The AI examiner pushes back the way yours will.

Voice-driven

Speak your answers out loud. Hear the examiner's questions. Train the verbal fluency that separates a pass from a fail, not just whether you know the answer.

Honest feedback

Every exam ends with a structured grade. What you nailed, what to drill, where the examiner would have pressed harder. Track yourself across sessions.

Buy a window, not a subscription

3 or 6 months of full access, one payment per window, no auto-renewal. When the window ends, access ends. Buy another if you need more time. No surprise charges.

Built by people who took this exam.

Med Oral Boards is a partnership between two brothers: a board-certified anesthesiologist who designed the exam framework, grading rubrics, and examiner question flows the AI follows on every turn, and a software engineer who built the app around it.

The AI generates each individual case, but it does so inside a framework written by an attending. The exam structure (12 core questions across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op, plus 2 discussion points) is the real ABA SOE format. The grading rubric is what an attending would actually look for. The examiner persona is scripted to push back on weak answers, wait while you think, and stay on the script rather than improvising medicine.

We built this because residents kept hitting the same two walls when they tried to drill mock exams with each other. Coming up with realistic case stems is hard. Finding a friend willing to spend hours playing examiner while you practice, then swap so they can, is even harder. The case generator handles variety. The AI examiner means you can drill solo, on your own schedule, with a fresh case every time.

A note on the AI: this is a study tool. The examiner asks questions and grades answers using rubrics designed by a board-certified anesthesiologist, but its responses are not medical advice and may occasionally contain errors. Use it for exam preparation, not clinical decisions.
